About
Hey, there! My name is Tony de Lima and I graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina with an English BA. I currently live and work in Guatemala. I work for HELPS International, an NGO, as their Medical Team Asst. Coordinator. I was born in Newport Beach, California and I lived in Mexico, Belize, Miami and Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Go Heels! I’ve traveled to Brazil, Aruba and Guatemala and plan to visit many more places. I love to write, surf, rock climb, sea-kayak, kitesurf, explore Mayan ruins, hike, and fish. I also miss a little redhead back home.
Things about me:
I love airplane turbulence.
Don’t mention Argentina around me.
I’d rather be at the beach than anywhere else.
Guadalajara, Mexico is one of my favorite places on Earth.
I like to play frescobol. Teaching people is fun.
Jungles scare the hell out me, yet I’d love to get lost in one.
I wanted to be an explorer growing up.
I want to paddle the Pantanal.
